We produce a wide range of collectible die-cast replicas of automobiles, including American cars, European cars, Japanese cars, Formula One racing cars, trucks, buses and engines. These replicas are produced at various scales ranging from 1/160 to 1/4 of the original size. The replicas typically have retail prices ranging from US$20 to over US$400 each, depending on the scale, number of parts and the level of detailing in the design. These replicas could have over 400 parts and have high quality finishing, resulting in an authentic look that appeals to collectors and other enthusiasts. We produced a 1/4 scale racing car engine for Action Performance which has close to 500 parts and retailed for approximately US$400. Our customers generally hold the necessary licences for the vehicle replicas, as well as the various decorative logos and designs used on these replicas. Replicas of buses are developed, manufactured and distributed by our subsidiary, CMN, which also holds the licences to produce such buses.
Vintage Trains and Locomotives
We manufacture die-cast replicas of vintage locomotives and trains of different scales for Athearn, a specialised US developer and marketer of electric train sets and model trains. Previously, Athearn manufactured their products and moulds in the US. The replica locomotives and trains are produced in 1/87 scale (or "Ho scale") and 1/160 scale (or "N scale"). These replicas are sold at prices of between US$20 to US$150, depending on its scale and design complexity, and if it is electrically motorised. These replicas can contain over 200 moving parts.
Military Products and Planes
We produce a few series of military collectibles, such as Second World War Fighter aircraft for Corgi in 1/87 scale and for Mattel in 1/160 scale, as well as the "The Legend of Flight" collection for Hallmark in 1/24 scale. We also produce 1/35 scale Second World War tanks replicas for PMA and 1/500 scale warships for MBI.
Christmas Tree Ornaments
We manufacture die-cast Christmas tree ornaments for Hallmarks "Keepsake" series.
Fibreglass, White Metal and Resin Products
In addition to die-cast collectibles, we assist certain customers in developing and manufacturing collectible replicas using other materials such as fibre glass, white metal, resin or a combination of such materials. These include vehicles, figurines, car show room samples, displays and decorative items. This alternate production process is ideal for projects with small production runs as the mould making costs are considerably lower compared to steel moulds. It also enables our customers to offer products using substitute materials where demand for such products is insufficient to justify an investment in producing steel moulds to produce die-cast products. Examples of such products are the 1/2 scale driver's helmet produced for PMA and the 1/500 scale multi-material warship produced for MBI.
